Dr. Przem Pruszynski received his Ph.D. from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland in Physical Organic Chemistry, After 17 years in academia that included Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS and University of Toronto Przem started his industrial part of career at DOW Chemical Research in Sarnia, Canada where he was involved in project on hydrogen peroxide bleaching and recycling. In 1992 Przem joined Nalco Canada as a group Leader in Pulp and Paper R&D. In 1998 he moved to Naperville, IL as Technical Director of Nalco Corporate Research. His primary role was to provide technical expertise to sales and customers on a global basis. Przem worked on the projects on 150+ paper machines in all regions of the world. He published 100+ papers and conference contributions, presented several keynote lectures at international conferences and was granted 6 US patents. Przem have taught more than 30 courses organized by PAPTAC and TAPPI. He also lectured and taught training sessions in Europe, Asia, Australia/NZ and South America. His technical knowledge and academic background make him uniquely prepared and extremely effective as a teacher and mentor. Przem is now Technical Director and Owner of Pruszynski Paper Chemistry Consulting, LLC.
